Angela_Bassett

Angela Evelyn Bassett (born April 15 1960) was an American actress. Her work has been recognized for TV and film from the mid-80s onwards, she has received various accolades like two Golden Globe Awards and sixteen NAACP Image Awards in addition to nominations for two Academy Awards and seven Primetime Emmy Awards. Bassett was raised in New York New York and fostered by an aunt who lived in Winston-Salem North Carolina. Bassett relocated with her twin sister in St. Petersburg Florida at the age of five in order to be closer to their mother and father, who had separated from her father. Bassett decided to be an actress after seeing the stage play Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck, starring James Earl Jones. The year was 1980 and Bassett completed her studies at Yale University New Haven Connecticut with an undergraduate degree in African American studies. She also received a degree from the Yale School of Drama. While at Yale she came across Courtney B. Vance a fellow actor and the two were married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in 1980. Master of Fine Arts degree from the Yale School of Drama School: Jordan Park Elementary School Disston Middle School (seventh grade) Azalea Middle School (eighth and ninth grade) Boca Ciega High School. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her leading roles, Ramonda, in the action-adventure movie i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
